Pastoral Training

Equipping Leaders 2013-Rwanda-photo-3172-2850852939-O

The Great Lakes Region of Africa is facing a great lack of biblical knowledge in its pastors and evangelists. Only 1% of pastors and evangelists have a general high school diploma with almost no biblical training.

Pastoral training is a core ministry of ERM. We have partnered with local churches and Simplicity Ministries to reach and train nearly 800 pastors and 200 women leaders from Rwanda and even neighboring DRC (Democratic Republic of the Congo), equipping them with leadership skills and basic knowledge useful for reaching their communities with the good news of Jesus Christ. We also reached 170 pastors and church leaders from Northern Region of Rwanda and the DRC (Democratic Republic of the Congo) with Pastor Greg English from First Baptist Church in Salem, Oregon. We are eager to partner to continue equipping pastors to reach communities with the good news.

ERM also partners with Rwandan pastors and Simplicity Ministries to provide Crusades to share 2013-Rwanda-photo-3143-2850851997-Othe Good News. More than 1,000 people have given their lives to Jesus Christ at these crusades. Praise the Lord!

How to Get Involved:

  • Sponsor a pastor for $75 – which will provide 5 days of training including lunches, accommodation, notes, and one-way transportation.
  • Sponsor a 5-day training for $2,500. Would your church or organization partner with us to provide this valuable training? A basic 5-day training provides 200 pastors and evangelists with needed training, accommodations, and meals.
  • Train a pastor. Do you have a heart for equipping pastors? We are always looking for pastors to equip pastors.

How ERM has Impacted the Region Recently:

Provided Biblical training to more than 200 pastors and church leaders thanks to Pastor Greg English and his team from Palmcroft Baptist Church of Phoenix, Arizona.
