Dear Friends and Supporters,

I greet you with deep gratitude and hope.

ERM Rwanda was born out of both pain and purpose. After surviving the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, I returned home to a country broken by tragedy. I saw children many of them orphans.  wandering the streets without hope, without family, and without a future. In that moment, I felt God calling me to act.

Inspired by James 1:27, which urges us to care for orphans and widows in their distress, I began by simply responding to the need in front of me. What started with placing a few children in the care of widows grew into a mission to restore dignity, empower youth, and break the cycle of poverty through vocational training and spiritual growth.

In 1996, we opened Hope Vocational Training Center, and since then, we’ve been equipping hundreds of young people every year with practical skills, faith, and the tools to build a better life not just for themselves, but for their communities.

At ERM Rwanda, we believe transformation is possible and it starts with equipping one life at a time.

Thank you for standing with us in this mission. Together, we are building hope, restoring lives, and multiplying impact across Rwanda.

With gratitude,
Emmanuel Sitaki
