Jason, Kristi & David Balstad

Biography

Jason, Kristi, and their youngest son, David, moved to Rwanda in November 2024 under Apple of His Eye Charity. They have been supporting the Muzima program as interim sponsorship directors and partnering with a vocational school to offer vocational and discipleship training.

The Balstad family has served in various ways in Africa since 2006. Jason and Kristi began with short-term missions in Uganda and Kenya, focusing on freshwater projects, children’s and young adult ministries, church planting, and discipleship training. They also helped with a child’s sponsorship program.
