ERM Hope Vocational Training Center (VTC) proudly celebrated its eighteenth graduation ceremony, honoring 162 students who successfully completed their studies in various vocational fields.

The vibrant ceremony took place on Friday, October 31st, 2025 at the school’s campus in Masaka, Kicukiro brought together graduates, parents, teachers, and local leaders to celebrate a decade of empowerment and skill development. This year’s graduates specialized in Carpentry, Welding, Masonry, Tailoring, Culinary Arts, and Hairdressing, among other trades.

In his keynote address, Pastor Emmanuel Sitaki Kayinamura, Founder and President of ERM Hope VTC School, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to equipping young people with practical skills and moral values.

“Our vision is to empower and prepare students for the labor market and self-employment,” Pastor Kayinamura said. “We are a holistic ministry our students not only gain professional skills but also receive spiritual guidance. We don’t just teach theory; we teach hands-on skills that empower our graduates to compete in the job market and earn a living with dignity.”

ERM Rwanda, the parent organization, was founded in 1996 with a mission to support orphans and widows. In 2008, the institution launched the Hope Vocational Training Center to provide young people especially those from vulnerable backgrounds with employable skills and opportunities for self-reliance.

The graduates expressed gratitude for the training and mentorship they received, pledging to use their skills to contribute to community development, create employment opportunities, and build better futures for themselves and their families.

The event marked not just a milestone for the institution but also a testament to its growing impact in transforming lives through vocational education and faith-based empowerment.
